What Pet Families Are Saying!

Answers to Your Questions

What is Aquamation?

Aquamation, also known as alkaline hydrolysis, is a gentle, water-based process that uses warm water and natural alkali to return your pet to the earth, leaving behind only their pure, mineral ashes.

How can I be sure I’m receiving only my pet’s ashes?

Every pet is aquamated in their own dedicated container, and our tracking protocols ensure that your pet is cared for individually and respectfully throughout the entire process.

Why are more ashes returned compared to flame cremation?

Unlike flame cremation, aquamation does not burn away any bone material. As a result, it returns up to 20% more ashes, preserving more of your pet’s remains.

How much water is used during aquamation?

Aquamation uses about the same amount of water a household would use in a single day. The water is filtered and returned safely to the ecosystem.

How long does the aquamation process take?

The full process typically takes 18 to 20 hours, followed by drying and preparation of the ashes. We will contact you once everything is ready for return.

Why choose aquamation for my pet?

Aquamation is gentle, dignified, and environmentally conscious. It provides peace of mind for pet owners who want to honor their pets and protect the planet.

Why is aquamation considered eco-friendly?

Aquamation uses 90% less energy, produces zero air emissions, and avoids the use of harmful incineration. It is the most earth-friendly method of aftercare available today.
